Deal4it.com Creates ``A Whole New Way of Shopping' Using Rich Interactive Video in Widgets and eBay Listings: Entertaining actors have fun engaging

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (Business Wire EON) January 8, 2008 -- Deal4it.com is a new online shopping site that allows users to search from millions of different items, and get a really great deal. What makes this shopping site unique is that it uses the RIV technology to entertain and engage shoppers. Hundreds of different videos have been produced by professional actors. These short videos are played automatically depending on what the shopper is doing at that moment. This will then allow the actors to show up on their eBay listings. Once the code has been added to their eBay listing, the item will be showcased on the deal4it.com website. eBay Sellers are now able to increase their sales by making the sales process more fun and engaging on eBay, and they get additional exposure outside of eBay.

Shoppers that view any eBay item that has the eBay "Best Offer" option are able to instantly know if their offer has been accepted. Once an offer has been entered, immediately a pre-recorded video plays in a fun and engaging way designed to counter-offer what has been submitted by the buyer if the offer was not acceptable. Using the eBay Best Offer system and the RIV technology together, the eBay Best Offer process is automated. Once an acceptable offer has been made, or a counter-offer has been accepted, the professional on-screen actor walks the buyer through the rest of the process.

A second tool has been certified as an eBay Compatible Application. The RIV technology is also being used to showcase eBay listings off eBay.com through a deal4it.com RIV widget. Widgets are small applications that can be added easily to any website, blog or personal social networking page.
